In the sixth grade, young Latazia decided to attend Georgetown University. She wanted to be a lawyer, but she was not yet familiar with all the schooling that would take. She also loved to write and think about how the world could be, if we fought hard enough for change.

Many years later, I am a Georgetown University and University of Michigan Law School alumna. I still love to write, and I am still pondering how the world could be. Perhaps even how it should be – if we fight hard enough.
